Hours: 37.5 per week

The Role

Are you an established Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy who is ready for the step up and looking for an exciting opportunity?

Do you have experience as a manager working with Adults with Learning Disabilities and associated complex needs?

Would you like the chance to work with a local provider in a valued and supportive environment?

Here at Plymouth Supported Living, we are looking for an enthusiastic and determined Registered Manager who can take the business to their next strategic goal and have an oversight on Plymouth supported living Outreach team.

This opportunity will see you leading your own team who, with your guidance, will ensure that the people we support within their own homes have the very best care, by great role models.

As a Registered Manager, not only is your duty of care to the people that we support, but also to your team. We understand that sometimes working in this environment can be tough; being able to inspire, communicate, stay calm under pressure, and stay positive when plans get derailed is key in ensuring your team is working effectively. As a manager at Plymouth Supported Living, you will need to demonstrate a high level of empathy whilst also guaranteeing our level of care is maintained at the very best standard.

About You

As the ideal candidate you will:

  • Be excited at the prospect of dealing with the people we support every day.
  • Working towards Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care / Registered Managers Award.
  • Be committed to the team and the highest levels of care quality.
  • Have a good understanding of CQC requirements.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be able to react well under pressure.

As the perfect candidate you will have:

  • QCF/ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management.
  • Level 7 NVQ in Health and Social Care / Registered Managers Award.
  • Registered Manager experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health, and social care legislation.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and determination to deliver the highest quality person centred care.
  • Strong staff management skills.
