  • We provide 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join our Finance and Compliance team based in London, with up to three days a week remote working.

About us

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.

To assist our colleagues in providing high quality support to young people, the Internal Audit team ensure that colleagues are in compliance with regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements, that organisational policies and procedures are being followed, and that behaviour in the organisation meets Centrepoint’s standards of conduct.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading a small team in providing a comprehensive and effective internal audit service, in the context of our position as a registered supported housing provider and registered charity
  • Carrying out audits of our services and support teams in London, Manchester, Bradford, Barnsley and Sunderland
  • Managing the internal audit third party co-sourced resource to ensure value, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with Internal Audit Standards and good practice, identifying areas of continuous improvement
