Young Somerset is seeking to recruit 2 Job Coaches to work with young people on a range to work-based learning programmes (including Supported Internship) within our Bold and Brave services. The Job Coach role is key in providing appropriate support using Supported Employment Techniques and Systematic Instruction.

The role will be based at our Bold and Brave shop and café in Taunton but will require some travel in order to secure work experience opportunities for young people and as the service grows.

We would love to hear from people who have experience of working with young people in a variety of settings and who have a passion in providing appropriate support to deliver outcomes for young people that impact their employability, independence, health and social skills.

This role is initially based in Taunton but may also require some countywide travel as the service grows.

Salary: The salary is £24,465 - £26,480  

Hours: 37 hours per week

Holiday entitlement is 27 days, plus?8 Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time staff), with an additional 5 days after 5 years’ service (pro rata for part time staff)
