Job Requirements/Description

Hourly Rate: £13 (£12 day rate +£1 night rate enhancement for hours worked between 10pm and 7am). 

Hours: 24 hours per week

Location: The Firs, Paignton

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to be recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to support individuals at the Firs within our service in Paignton, Devon.

Our Waking Night Support Workers are required to remain awake and work as part of a team, providing high quality person centred care and support throughout the night for the people who live at the Firs. Your responsibilities will also include supporting with health needs, emotional support, timely and accurate recordkeeping and updating of support plans. You will also be required to undertake some household tasks that can be difficult to complete during the day.

About the usual working pattern: 24 hours per week on the following two-week rolling rota:

Week 1:

  • Tuesday 7pm-7am
  • Friday 7pm-7am

Week 2: 

  • Friday 7pm-7am
  • Saturday 7pm-7am
